The Third Age Press is an independent publishing company which recognises that the period of life after full-time employment can be a time of fulfilment and continuing development, a time of regeneration. The Third Age Press exists to provide materials to encourage that regeneration.

U3A Chess by e-mail
U3A Chess by e-mail works across the U3As so members can play chess with other U3A members in the UK. To register your interest, go to the national website at www.u3a.org.uk, join and start playing. Men in Sheds
Men in Sheds MK is a group sponsored by Age UK, MK Council and others to offer older men the chance to pursue their hobbies and interests in a co-operative environment. It is currently creating a workshop for wood and metalworking with possible future facilities for model-making, photography, computing, sandblasting glass, cookery and other activities. Speakeasy writing group
Speakeasy meet on the First Friday of each month at The Quaker Centre, Downhead Park. Meetings start at 19.30 and usually finish around 22.15. Although various age groups are represented, most people are over the age of 55. If you are a writer do feel free to come along.


Milton Keynes Green Gym
The Milton Keynes Green Gym carries out practical, conservation volunteering projects on a number of interesting sites in and around the town on Thursday mornings. The group carries out a wide range of activities, such as managing woodlands, improving public access, caring for community gardens and planting hedges and trees.
