U3A Day: The Stables, Wavendon

IMPORTANT UPDATE

We have just been informed that Milton Keynes Council will be closing Newport Road, Wavendon, between the 21st and 23rd September from the Kingston Roundabout (BP garage/KFC) to the traffic lights which lead into Dankworth Way. There are two alternative routes which I will add below. You can also add the address of The Stables to your satnav for directions. Stockwell Lane, Wavendon, MK17 8LU.
Diversions

Route 1 from Milton Keynes side

  • From Kingston Roundabout (BP Petrol Station)
  • A421 → Fen Roundabout
  • Take the 3rd exit onto Keightley Gate in Glebe Farm
  • Then right onto Burney Drive, follow this all the way round to traffic light junction
  • Straight on at the traffic lights onto Dankworth Way
  • Left onto Stockwell Lane
  • Right into The Stables

 

Or

 

Route 2 through Wavendon Gate

  • Standing Way (A421) towards Wavendon Gate
  • Turn onto Ortensia Drive
  • First right onto Isaacson Drive
  • Follow the road round
  • Turn left onto Passalewe Lane and follow road round
  • Passalewe Lane feeds into Walton Road, continue to follow round
  • Left onto Stockwell Lane
  • Left into The Stables

Please join us for a day where we celebrate many of the activities and friendships that form Milton Keynes University of the Third Age (MKu3a). Please being your family friends and neighbours to. Everybody welcome.
Starting at 09:00 and finishing at 15:00 please find below a rough running order of performances by our member groups. Display of arts and crafts plus other activities are available to view in the foyer of The Stables. Knowledgeable members will be available to answer questions.

Tea and coffee are available but there is no food available so bring your own snack or lunch.

We look forward to welcoming you and sharing with you the achievements of our amazing members.
